Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

It has become somewhat of a tradition for our monastery to organize pilgrimages to the Holy Land. The All-Good Lord has blessed us many times to offer quite a number of faithful the opportunity to fulfill their holy desire of going on this pilgrimage. It is truly a milestone in the each person’s life. Just reflecting on how these places were sanctified by the presence of the God-man Christ is enough: that one is venerating the place where our Lord was born, crucified, and resurrected, as well as a multitude of other places where amazing events took place. In addition to our experience, the travel agency “Orthodox Pilgrimages” contributes exceedingly to the success of these trips. We pray that this blessed goal may be every Christian heart’s desire.

With particular joy, we announce that our holy monastery is organizing—by the grace of God—two pilgrimages to the Holy Land for the coming summer. From 5-12 July and 23-30 August 2012 for the feast of the Theotokos. Visiting and venerating at the places which were sanctified by the appearance of the God-man Christ on earth is an great blessing and magnificent experience for every faithful person. For this reason, venerating at the Holy Land was always the dream of a lifetime for every pious Christian. All who are interested can have a small taste of the joy and splendor of the pilgrimage by opening the file of photographs and videos from past trips which our monastery organized, as well as obtain the schedules and relevant information about the two pilgrimages which are being planned by the grace of God.

Detailed schedules will soon be posted
