One more hierarch placed himself against the heresies. It concerns the Metropolitan Theoklitos of Florina and Eordea. The Metropolitan publically announced that three heresies infect Orthodoxy. Papism, Protestantism and the pan-heresy of Ecumenism. The metropolitan's position was expressed during his speech at the Metropolitan Church of Saint Panteleimon in Florina, and were broadcast by the Radio Station of the Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespa and Eordea, in the morning of March 16th. The taping of the complete speech of the Reverend Metropolitan was done by some faithful Christians who proceeded in sending it to the "O.T." (Orthodox Press).
The Metropolitan is the fourth in line Metropolitan who publicly characterizes Papism as heresy. The first Metropolitan, after the common prayers of the Pope with the Ecumenical Patriarch at Fanar and the openings of the Hellenic Church towards the Vatican, which crested with the visit of the blessed Archbishop of Athens to the Pope, was Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus and Old Faliron. The second was Metropolitan Cosmas of Etoloakarnania with his pastoral encyclical. The third was the Metropolitan Paul of Kozani and Serbs. The fourth one was Metropolitan Theoklitos of Florina and Eordea.
