It crosses lengthwise the whole of Israel and it is a place of mention for the different divine events that took place around it, during the Old Testament, the time of Christ but also during the march of the Church. The highest and most important event that sanctified the "Jordanian brook" but also the whole creation is the Baptism of the Godman in it.
